 The Fall 2008 Term Begins today!
If you wish to enroll in classes, be sure to do that now! Most classes have their first lessons up, so you may begin as soon as you're ready.
The polls for the 2008 Summer Awards Ceremony are now up! Visit the Great Hall, and vote now! Polls will close on September 7th, so don't miss out!
The exact date and time of the ceremony will be announced after polling is over. The House Cup for both the spring and summer terms of 2008 will be awarded as well.
The House Cup Championship for this fall term begins today as well. Keep in mind the honor point increases and the download limits! There will be many house contests throughout the term, so you'll have many opportunities to earn points.
Above all, remember inter-house unity! We're a PH family above all else!
So, I wish you all an exciting and most colorful fall term!

PH finally has its new Care of Magical Creatures professor:
Congratulations to Professor Ferasay (Trisiana Ferasay in the forums) of Hufflepuff! She will be teaching CoMC beginning with this fall term.
A few updates do need to be made to catch up with this announcement--they'll be done over the weekend. |

The class enrollment rules have changed!
Beginning with this fall term, class enrollment can be open all throughout term.
Unless a teacher closes enrollment for his/her class, enrollment will be open all throughout term, until about mid-November.
This way, new students who join in the middle of term will still be able to sign up for classes.
For the fall term, enrollment opens on August 1st, 2007.
On August 23rd, those teachers who wish to close enrollment, may close enrollment.
Since
not all classes may stay open to enrollment all term, be sure to check
the classrooms to see whether enrollment is still open or not after
August 23rd.
All students should, of course, sign up before term begins, to take advantage of extra credit and bonus points awarded for turning assignments in on time.
Remember, you must pass at least two classes in order to advance to the next year.
Please, do not sign up for more classes than you can handle!
Take note of how much free time you have to spend at PH. Don't sign up
for 7 classes, and then drop out of 5...teachers really won't love you
for that!

The Graduation List for graduates of the Spring 2007 term has been posted in the Great Hall.
All students are listed under the year they will be in for the Fall 2007 term. If you are not on the list, then you are a first year.
Congratulations to all those who advanced!
